Choose:
• Custom Coil Cords
• Standard Coil Cords
We’ve been building cords and cables for more than 20 years for industries as diverse as food service, military, defense, telecom, medical, industrial controls, signal transfer, agriculture, security, antitheft industry and personal safety. Some of the more recognizable names among our customers include: Boeing, St. Jude Medical, Honeywell, Motorola, and SC Johnson.
The Meridian Process
We start by extruding our own cable. Beginning with individual copper strands we custom-design a cable that will meet your exact needs and specifications. Although we manufacture offshore to provide our customers with significant cost savings – usually 25% less than the competition — our process begins with U.S. engineers. Our engineers speak English, and design to U.S. standards. You can talk with our people about your precise needs and we will custom design and custom build your coil cord from the ground up. Whatever your problem, we can solve it. Whatever your need, we can fill it. Because our offshore manufacturing facility is U.S. owned and run, every product we make adheres to U.S. manufacturing standards.
Please feel free to call or contact us today to discuss your coil and cable needs and let us show you what Meridian Cable can do for you. 1-847-709-7955.

Track Record
Meridian has been in business for more than 20 years. Our success is a result of the quality of our products built to exact customer specifications, our impressive delivery record (98% on time, 99.7% error free), and our competitive pricing, which often beats the competition by as much as 25%. We work closely with our customers to produce exactly what they need and want; and we believe in the “price it fair and treat them well” approach to doing business.
Off Shore – In Spec – On Time and Priced Right
Off shore is the way to go for the best prices in manufacturing. Most business people understand that, but are concerned about the challenges of doing business overseas, especially in places like China where language barriers, cultural differences, and time zones can create road blocks. Our customers don’t have to worry about any of that. They get the pricing power from offshore manufacturing, with none of the headaches. Our production facility in Tianjin, China is U.S. owned, and operates under the business practices of the U.S., including intellectual property laws and patents, and has since we first opened in 1994. This combination means we deliver on time and in spec at significant savings.
Reliability
Our products are used throughout North America and the world. Whether we’re talking about the wires and electrodes that enable a nurse to get an accurate EKG, a soldier being able to trust that the 30 amps he needs to get from a solar panel into his Humvee will function as it should, the conveyer belt manufacturer who’s moving packages through a 2 million square foot warehouse, or the cords for the super slow motion Super Bowl cameras, our cables are, above all, reliable, as is our service and delivery. Off Shore, In Spec and On Time
Our wire and cable customers know that we have incredible turnaround times (we once delivered 25 custom pieces from China in 7 days!) and that we deliver as promised. Our offshore manufacturing facility means good prices, but doesn’t mean slow delivery.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that having wire and cable manufactured in China requires long lead times, large quantities, produces questionable quality, and/or doesn’t provide design/patent protection. The truth is that our turnaround and delivery times are so impressive that we proudly publish the fact that our deliveries are 98% on time and 99.7 error-free. Many of the world’s leading electronics are now made in China — including your i-Phone and maybe even your computer – which has given “made in China” a whole new meaning. And, you can rest assured that our U.S.-owned factory provides you with all of the rights, privileges, protections and security of working with a U.S. company.
Meridian wire and cable products are used throughout North America in a broad range of industries including agriculture, heavy equipment, marine, recreation, fishing, hunting, medical, veterinary, geophysical, and broadcast. Some of our better-known wire and cable customers include Philips, Respironics, Humminbird/Techsonic and Iridium Satellite. If you watched the Super Bowl this year, those were our cables powering the high-def, ultra slo-mo cameras. Read more in our Blog.
